Massages Ayurvedic

Ayurveda is an ancient art of healing, which has been practised in India for more than 5000 years without interruption. In Sanskrit "Ayur" means life and "Veda" means knowledge. Literally it means "the knowledge or science of life". It is not only conceived as a medical system but as a true system of life for the promotion of health recognised by the OMS.

Doshas

Ayurveda considers that everything existing in the universe is also present within us. These are principally the five great elements:

Air, Fire, Water, Earth, and Ether (space).

These elements combine to form three essential biophysical energies, the DOSHAS: VATA, PITTA, and KAPHA.

These three doshas are present in all living beings. However, it is the predominance of one, two, or all three that establishes an individual's unique constitution.

The core principle of Ayurveda is to identify the doshas that are out of balance and causing illness, and then to calm them, rebalance them, and restore health.

They focus on holding medicinal liquids in specific areas like the lower back (Kati Basti), cervicals (Greeva Basti), or knees(Janu Basti). These are therapeutic treatments aimed at relieving pain, stiffness, and imbalances in those particular areas of the body. Ayurvedic massage: Shirodhara & Elakhizi

Shirodhara: A bath of relaxation for the mind.

Experience the profound calm of Shirodhara, an Ayurvedic therapy where a gentle and continuous stream of warm medicated oil is poured onto your forehead, at the "third eye". This serene technique induces deep relaxation, relieves stress and anxiety, improves sleep, and quiets the mind, promoting clarity and overall well-being. An ideal treatment for those seeking inner peace and mental balance.

Elakizhi, (also known as Patra Pinda Sweda): It primarily uses fresh medicinal leaves, often fried with other herbal ingredients, grated coconut, and lemon in medicated oils. The therapy focuses on the properties of these leaves to relieve pain, inflammation, and promote muscle relaxation.
